Why design and build instead of hiring a designer and a contractor?
One team is responsible for the result. There is no gap between what was drawn and what gets built, and no one to blame across the table.
What if we already have a designer?
That is fine. We build from their drawings and coordinate with them directly.
How is a design and build project priced?
Design is a fixed fee. Construction is an itemised quote from the finished drawings, so the price is based on what is actually going to be built.
